We all know those times when there are 50 billion ideas are bouncing around our heads, offering seemingly contradictory suggestions, never moving forward. A Visioning Session provides the clarity and assurance you need to know that you’re on the right track.

Vision Sessions are a big brainstorm for the important stuff.

Like what sort of important stuff, you ask? Your Mission and Vision Statements, your Next Big Steps (i.e. your strategic plan), the colour palette for your dining room walls, and your personal or professional branding ideas would all fit into this category.

Humour me for a minute and think big … think real big … right there … what you just came up with there … that would also fit into a Visioning Session. Visioning Sessions provide you with real-world understanding and achievable action steps for those projects (or potential projects) you’re having trouble bringing to fruition.

Here’s how it works:

Before the session, I’ll send out a short questionnaire to get you thinking about our time together. When you send it back, it means that I’ll already have an understanding of your project.

Next, we make some tea, get our colour markers and pencils ready, choose the right earrings for the session (though that may just be me) then we log into Skype for our pre-confirmed appointment. Don’t have an account? It’s free and easy. Sign up here.

Once online, we introduce ourselves, have a brief chat, and jump right in.

Over the next few hours — or few sessions if you have a big project in mind — we draw out the common themes that work in your favour and discard those that could be filed away for another day.

By the end of the session, you take away a clearer picture of your project, action steps you can take to move it forward, and a lighter feeling in mind and body. I’m not kidding — big issues are heavy to carry around. PLUS, you didn’t have to go anywhere! No commute time, no traffic, no public restrooms, just pure, unadulterated you-time.

But What Happens After?

I send you my takeaways from our session together so that you have a second set of notes to refer to when you’re out there wheeling and dealing with the big time. I’m also always available for questions (no obligation, no pressure, no problem, no kidding).

“Working with Helen was such a pleasure! I was really struggling with getting just the right headline that captured my work and complemented my website content. She intuitively understood what I wanted to convey and, with breakneck speed, provided thoughtful, on the mark ideas, and feedback. Not only was I impressed with her fabulous talent, responsiveness, and creativity, but her warmth, sensitivity, and caring nature were equally impactful. I felt held the entire time I was working with her. I highly recommend Helen for any writing project!”

If this sounds like the right thing for you, get in touch to schedule an appointment.  Let’s talk. We can take it from there.

If you already have existing text that you think requires a little tweaking before you send it out to your community, check out my Editing and Messaging work. We might be a good fit.
